To promote healing and reduce risks of complications; avoid the following for at least 24 hours before your procedure.

  • Avoid smoking and alcohol for at least 24 hours before
  • Avoid aspirin or ibuprofen or herbal treatments as may increase bruising
  • Avoid hair removal on treatment areas
  • Ensure the treatment area is free of any products before your appointment.
  • Drink plenty of water in the days leading up to your treatment. Well-hydrated skin responds better to treatment.
  • Avoid using strong skincare products (topical retinoid, steroid and glycolic acid) for at least 1 week before your treatment

  • UV exposure, extreme temperatures (like saunas and hot showers),
  • Strenuous activity or exercise, swimming,
  • Alcohol and smoking
  • Touching/rubbing the treated area (including pressure from clothing/accessories).
  • Avoid further treatments/ massages for 2 weeks
